Myofascial Release

Having recently studied Myofascial release therapy with Beth Beauchamp, certified Myofascial Release Therapist I am now offering this body work technique from the comfort of a healing room in my home.

Our fascia is a densely woven connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, every bone, every organ, nerve, artery, and vein in the body. This giant uninterrupted web encases, connects and interlaces everything in the entire body all the way down to a cellular level. Surprisingly, many people have no understanding of this intrinsic and fundamental part of our anatomy.

When we work with the fascia from superficial to deep using a particular trained protocol (long, relaxing strokes without the use of any oils) we open and create space through our 'fluid highway' that in turn enhances the anatomical and physiological function in the body addressing pain, movement limitations, structural and postural dysfunction and energy flow restrictions.

As an introduction to the world of fascia, I am offering 1-hour sessions from the comfort of a dedicated space at my home. We can work on an area of concern, address certain areas of tension and begin to unravel your fascial web.

Reiki & Crystal Healing

A Reiki and Crystal Healing session is a non-invasive practice where we work with your energy field. In much of today's medical system, we are trained to look at the physical body and symptoms rather than addressing our energy system and sensing into what it needs for greater wellbeing.

Our energy system and the human body can easily become unbalanced as a result of emotional pain, trauma, stress and dis-ease. Your auric field is the light and fluid energy that surrounds your human body in layers. When we are unbalanced our energy can retract or worse even begin to shut down completely. Vice versa when we find ourselves to be happy, content, loved and safe our auric field is expansive and our energy freely flowing.

When we work with and look after our energy system a healing can bring about balance to both a person's physical body and their energy field. In order to achieve this, a healing will start by sensing into your auric field and asking for each chakra to open. Through your subtle anatomy, we can then pick up on those areas that may be out of alignment, stagnant or blocked. Once identified we then complete a healing of your energy centres working with a select group of crystals to support the healing outcome.

As we go about balancing your energy system you may experience a sense of peace, relief, release, energy flow, comfort and so on. A Reiki and Crystal Healing session directly influences our body and energy system and whilst some changes may be noticed immediately others may take a few days of integration.
